I’m Hazel Colby, a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the HCPC, specialising in women’s health and pelvic health physiotherapy. My passion for this field comes from a deep commitment to helping women feel strong, confident, and in control of their bodies at every stage of life.
Throughout my training and clinical career, I have developed extensive experience across both musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy. I work with women presenting with a wide range of conditions, including bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, post operative rehabilitation, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and pregnancy-related concerns. This breadth of experience allows me to take a highly individualised and clinically reasoned approach to care.
Working across both NHS and private practice has enabled me to refine a well-rounded and considered treatment style. I combine evidence-based practice with a focus on precision, education, and long-term outcomes, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored, effective, and aligned with the individual’s goals and lifestyle.
I am particularly passionate about supporting women in returning to exercise and higher-level activity, adapting rehabilitation to ensure it is both safe and sustainable. I believe in delivering physiotherapy that feels collaborative, supportive, and empowering, creating an environment where patients feel truly listened to and confident in their recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle through gym training, running, sprint triathlons, skiing, climbing, and spending quality time with family.
