Don’t just work out — work out right, under the eye of a chartered physiotherapist.
Most Pilates classes are taught by fitness instructors. Ours are taught by chartered, HCPC-registered physiotherapists — the same clinicians who treat back pain, joint injuries and post-surgical recovery every day at our Wilmslow Road clinic. That means every class we run, from complete-beginner to advanced, is built around what your body can actually do safely today, not a generic routine.
Whether you’re returning to exercise after an injury or operation, managing ongoing back or joint pain, or simply want Pilates taught properly from day one, our small-group and 1:1 sessions are designed to adapt to you — not the other way round.
Beginner Pilates — for anyone new to Pilates, returning after injury or surgery, managing pain, or simply nervous about joining a class. Every exercise is taught from first principles with full modifications available.
Intermediate Pilates — for those with some Pilates experience or a good baseline of strength and movement control, ready to build on the fundamentals.
Advanced Pilates — for established practitioners with strong body awareness, looking for a genuine physical challenge under expert supervision.
Every mat-based session — whatever the level — focuses on controlled, quality movement: core strength and stability, mobility and flexibility, postural awareness, breathing and movement coordination, and balance and control work. Where needed, your physiotherapist will adapt any exercise around pain, stiffness, or a specific diagnosis.
If you’re currently in pain, have had recent surgery, or have a specific injury you want addressed directly, we recommend starting with a 1:1 assessment so your programme can be built entirely around you.
If you’re generally well but want expert-led Pilates for strength, posture and injury prevention, our small-group classes (3–4 people) are the ideal starting point — you can always add 1:1 sessions alongside your group classes at any time.
