Combining clinical physiotherapy expertise with structured mat-based Pilates — delivering safe, precise, and purposeful movement in a professional healthcare environment.
This service is designed for people who want more than a general Pilates class. Whether you are recovering from injury, rebuilding after surgery, managing long-term pain, addressing movement or postural issues, or simply seeking a more clinically guided approach, every session is built around safety, control, and progression.
How Sessions Are Delivered
Physio-Led Pilates is available as:
- 1:1 sessions for fully individualised assessment, progression, and hands-on guidance
- Small group sessions (3–4 people), allowing close supervision, individual modifications, and a calm, focused class environment
Both formats are led by a physiotherapist, ensuring exercises are selected, adapted, and progressed appropriately for each individual.
Class Levels
To ensure appropriate challenge and progression, sessions are structured around Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Your physiotherapist will guide you to the most suitable level based on assessment and ongoing progress.
- Beginner
Ideal if you are new to Pilates, returning after injury or surgery, or managing pain or stiffness. Focus is placed on foundational movement patterns, breathing, posture, and control, with close guidance and slower progressions.
- Intermediate
Suitable for those with previous Pilates experience or a good baseline of strength and movement control. Sessions introduce increased challenge, longer sequences, and greater coordination while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Advanced
Designed for individuals with excellent movement control, strength, and body awareness. Sessions involve more complex exercises, higher strength demands, and sustained control, with progression guided carefully to maintain precision and injury prevention.
